And everyone's hyping it up to be a blast.
All the guys in my grade have a date
However I don't and it's getting kind of late.
I need to think of a creative way to ask Michelle
One that would work rather swell.
And that's when in my head I heard the sound of a bell
The idea I just thought of would be good, I could already tell.
The day is Friday, March 16th and I can't wait any longer
The gap between now and prom is getting shorter.
I went to the flower store during lunch to buy a rose
For it would add a dramatic effect when I propose.
We came running into the school in the afternoon
And during bio class is when I asked "will you go to prom with me in June?"
She answered yes and I was so relieved
For my way of asking her in front of the class was very well received.
I love this poem Chris! I liked when you rhymed Michelle and swell.. haha. It looks like you had nothing to stress about after all, the way you asked Michelle to prom was so cute! Good job! :)
